Hank Marvin is an English musician, known as the lead guitarist for the Shadows. The group, which primarily performed instrumentals, was formed as a backing band for vocalist Cliff Richard. Hank has a distinctive guitar sound and appearance, primarily using a clean sound with distinctive echo and vibrato giving a dreamy effect.
Elaine Palmer hails from a sleepy village on the North Yorkshire Moors, a stones throw away from the idyllic fishing town of Whitby. Growing up Elaine was continually surrounded by music and at school she learnt the recorder and piano. Her talent was evident even at an early age and by her early teens the school orchestra were playing original Elaine Palmer compositions! In 2008 there were some changes to Elaine’s material, picking up the pace a little and working with a new band. Now Drums, bass and electric guitar give a slightly more up beat larger sound to her new material. ‘The new songs are much more edgy and slightly more aggressive, heavily influenced by the open road and the unknown, looking forward not backwards this time.’
Steve Rodgers is fast becoming one of the most in-demand underground international artistes of the time, with his self-released EP being already snapped up by thousands of fans on his MySpace forum. With an eclectic sound which has been likened to Jeff Buckley, Scott Mathews, Ray Lamontagne , Steve is set to take the world by storm over the coming months.
