Matt McGowan, Lee Coneley, Andy Maxwell, Gary Puckett, Kenney Jones & Nick Hasted

Interviews from 10 October include Matt McGowan & Lee Coneley of Miami Driveway live in the studio, Andy Maxwell live in the studio, Gary Puckett of Union Gap, Kenney Jones of Small Faces and The Who, along with author Nick Hasted.

We struggled to find information or websites for Miami Driveway and Andy Maxwell who joined us in the studio to chat and play some of their songs live... so, you'll just have to listen to the audio!  But, we can tell you that Matt McGowan comes from Portchester, and reached the final of the national Live & Unsigned competition in 2012, and has played at Camden's Roundhouse.  Matt started playing music around 16 years of age, coming from a non-musical family, and studied music at Fareham College before going to the Bristol Institute of Modern Music.  Find out more at www.mattmcgowanmusic.com

Gary Puckett & The Union Gap was an American pop rock group active in the late 1960s. Their biggest hits were "Woman, Woman", "Over You", "Young Girl" and "Lady Willpower." It was formed by Gary Puckett, Gary 'Mutha' Withem, Dwight Bement, Kerry Chater, and Paul Wheatbread, who eventually named it The Union Gap. It featured costumes that were based on the Union Army uniforms worn during the American Civil War.

Kenney Jones is a veteran English musician and drummer best known for his work in the groups The Small Faces, The Faces and then The Who after Keith Moon's death in 1978. Jones was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 as a member of The Small Faces/Faces.

Nick Hasted has been a film journalist since 1986. He writes about film, music, books and comics for The Independent, Sight & Sound, Uncut and Little White Lies.  Nick is the author of 'Jack White: How he built an empire from the blues'.
